چکیده

The objective was to evaluate the inoculation, co-inoculation with bacteria B. japonicum and A. brasilense in combination application of N doses on agronomic characteristics soybean. design used randomized blocks a 4x4 factorial scheme, four types inoculation (absence bacteria, brasilense) (0 % = 0; 2 4.5; 4 9 8 18 kg ha-1), replications. increasing above 2% promoted reduction number nodules formed by roots. root dry mass higher at dose 8% N, an average 317 per plant 23.42 g plant-1 referring treatment inoculant brasilense. nodulation efficiency obtained value 354 kg-1 when used. if co-inoculation. practice nitrogen fertilization resulted increase only for significant gains N.

INTERACTIVE EFFECT OF NITROGEN FERTILIZATION AND RHIZOBIUM INOCULATION ON NODULATION AND YIELD OF SOYBEAN (Glycine max L. Merrill)

A field experiment was conducted for two consecutive seasons (2009/10 and 2010/11) in the Demonstration Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture at Shambat-Sudan, to study the interactive effect of nitrogen fertilization and rhizobium inoculation on nodulation and yield of soybean (Glycine max [L.] Merrill) plants. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with four replicatio...

Soybean Response to Drought and Seed Inoculation

Drought is one of the most important factors that limits N fixation, growth and yield of soybean. 2 The aim of this study was to determine the effects of water stress, starter N application and seed inoculation on yield and yield components of soybean (cv. Williams). The experiment was conducted in 2010 at the Islamshahr town that located in 12 km of South-west of Tehran, the capital of Iran. T...

Effect of inoculation and nitrogen on isoflavonoid concentration in wild-type and nodulation-mutant soybean roots.

The isoflavones, daidzein and genistein, have been isolated and identified as the major inducers of nod genes of Bradyrhizobium japonicum. The common nod genes of rhizobia are in turn responsible for stimulating root hair curling and cortical root cell division, the earliest steps in the host response. This study evaluated whether there was a relationship between root isoflavonoid production an...

Bradyrhizobium japonicum Survival in and Soybean Inoculation with Fluid Gels.

The utilization of gels, which are used for fluid drilling of seeds, as carriers of Bradyrhizobium japonicum for soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) inoculation was studied. Gels of various chemical composition (magnesium silicate, potassium acrylate-acrylamide, grafted starch, and hydroxyethyl cellulose) were used, although the hydroxyethyl cellulose gels were more extensively investigated. Gel i...

Response of Wheat to Azotobacter - Actinomycetes Inoculation and Nitrogen Fertilizers

The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of inoculation (Azotobacter chroococcum and actinomycetes) and nitrogen mineral fertilizers (doses of 60 kg N ha-1 and 120 kg N ha-1) on the yield of wheat and on the number and activity of certain microorganisms in rhizospheric soil. The investigation was carried out in humogley soil with three wheat varieties. The variants of the experime...
